The Bulbostylis genus is represented by only one species in Renfrew County.

Bulbostylis capillaris (L.) C.B. Clarke, Dense-tufted hair sedge

Bulbostylis capillaris is sparse in Renfrew County and isolated to dry beaches, exposed sand and gravelly roadsides.
