Only one species from Section ALBAE is found in Renfrew County.

Carex eburnea Boott, Bristle-leaved Sedge

Carex eburnea is uncommon in Renfrew County growing on dry calcareous soils and in alvars. It forms mats and has tiny indistinct inflorescences with perigynia that turn black with age.
