A comparative study

Carex platyphylla Carey, Broad-leaved Sedge (Section CAREYANAE)

Carex platyphylla is apparently rare in Renfrew County, found in rich woods. It is easily recognized by its glaucous basal leaves. There are no public herbarium records known from Renfrew County.
