A comparative study

Carex prasina Wahlenb., Drooping Sedge (Section HYMENOCHLAENAE)

Carex prasina is very rare in Renfrew County so far only confirmed in the extreme eastern corner of the county. It is an early summer species growing in handsome clumps along woodland streams in the rich muck.
