Carex leptonervia (Fern.) Fern., Finely Nerved Sedge (Section LAXIFLORAE)

Carex leptonervia is common in Renfrew County and favors disturbed sandy upland soils. As the name implies the perigynia have very few nerves (prominent longitudinal veins), especially in fresh material.
