A comparative study

Cyperus fuscus Linnaeus, Brown flatsedge

Cyperus fuscus is a non-native Eurasian species first reported in Renfrew County in 2018 [Oldham and Bickel, 2019]. It is found on muddy shorelines associated with C. bipartitus and C. diandrus. Its occurrence is quite rare, so far reported from one location in Renfrew County where it is quite abundant.
