A comparative study

Eriophorum gracile W.D.J. Koch ex A. Roth, Slender cottongrass

Eriophorum gracile is rare in the eastern corner of Renfrew County, found on floating bog mats. Eriophorum gracile can be distinguished from Eriophorum tenellum with its leaf shorter than the leaf sheath (Figure 5).
