Rhynchospora fusca (L.) W.T. Aiton, Brown beakrush

Rhynchospora fusca is uncommon in Renfrew County, found on floating bogs in the northwestern portion of the county. Due to its mat forming nature, it can be a dominant species where found (see Figures 2 and 3).
